Auburn Real Estate — South King's working valley, with rivers and wide lots.
About Auburn
Named for John Howard Payne's poem "The Deserted Village" — "sweet Auburn, loveliest village of the plain" — the city grew up as a White River Valley farm community, then boomed with the railroad, then again with Boeing. The Muckleshoot Tribe, whose reservation borders the city, runs one of the region's largest entertainment economies. The valley still feels rural in places that surprise newcomers.
