About Kent

Founded in 1890 and named after Kent, England (its hop fields supplied British brewers), Kent grew up along the Green River as one of the Pacific Northwest's most productive agricultural valleys. The Boeing-era and the surge of Amazon and aerospace warehouses turned the valley floor into industrial corridor — but the East Hill and Panther Lake neighborhoods stayed residential and remain some of South King's best price-per-square-foot.
