Kirkland Real Estate — Lake Washington shoreline. Walkable downtown. Costco's hometown.
About Kirkland
Founded in 1888 by industrialist Peter Kirk who tried to build the 'Pittsburgh of the West' on Lake Washington (it didn't take), Kirkland kept the waterfront, the wide streets, and the small-town downtown grid — the bones for what later became one of the Eastside's most walkable cities. Costco's headquarters and Google's expansion campus anchor the white-collar economy.
