Spanaway Real Estate — Lake-side, mountain-view, military-adjacent — and quietly affordable.
About Spanaway
Spanaway started as a logging stop on the rail line south of Tacoma and grew around its 264-acre lake into a working-class suburb after WWII. Still unincorporated, which keeps the property tax base lower than its neighbors. Closer to JBLM than Lakewood — many military families land here when the housing wait list runs long.
